Professor
M.A. Mazid is currently serving as a Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and also holds the position of Principal. He has been serving in the CSE department since 1995.
He is presently conducting classes on a variety of subjects, including Engineering Mathematics, Mathematics for CSE, Coordinate Geometry, Vector Analysis, Discrete Mathematics, Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Numerical Analysis, and Complex Variables.
After completing his M.Sc. in Mathematics, M. A. Mazid joined IST as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science. He later enrolled in the M.Phil (1st Part) program at BUET. Notably, he achieved 1st Class 1st in his B.Sc. in Mathematics. He is also an Associate Member of the Bangladesh Computer Society.
His research areas include Partial Differential Equations and the Applications of Numerical Analysis.
