Nahidul Islam currently serves as a Faculty Member in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at the Institute of Science and Technology (IST), the first affiliated institution of the National University of Bangladesh. He completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Panchopally G.R. High School and his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Mazid Jarina Foundation School and College. He then pursued his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the Institute of Information Technology (IIT), Jahangirnagar University. During his undergraduate studies, he actively participated in intra-departmental programming competitions and successfully executed multiple academic projects. His final thesis, titled “Identifying Suicidal Tendency Among Young Students Using Machine Learning,” reflects his expertise in applying artificial intelligence to psychological research. Upon completing his degree, he joined Dhaka City College as a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, where he contributed to shaping future professionals in the field.
