With more than 9 years of teaching experience, at present, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department of Institute of Science and Technology (IST). I have completed my B.Sc. Engg. and M.Sc. Engg. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Islamic University of Technology (IUT). My notable research areas are antenna design for biomedical applications, error analysis of elasticity imaging technique, and nanotechnology. I always try to focus on bridging teaching, research and practical applications.Throughout my B.Sc. Engg. and M.Sc. Engg. studies, I remained steadfast in my resolve to attain excellence in academics and research. This resolve paid rich dividends, and I completed my B.Sc. Engg. with a CGPA of 3.85 out of 4.00 and M.Sc. Engg. with a CGPA of 3.67 out of 4.00. Basic and advanced engineering courses helped lay a solid foundation for my Electrical and Electronic Engineering career. I have done my M.Sc. thesis work with a major focus on elasticity imaging technique in the field of biomedical engineering. In my thesis I needed to learn about software simulation, making various tissue models, working with experimental data, and pragmatic decision-making through simulation results.I had the opportunity to join IST as a Lecturer on 5th November 2015 and currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). I am teaching several engineering courses, such as “Biomedical Instruments”, “Embedded Systems”, “Control Systems”, “Power Electronics”, “Power Electronics Lab”, “Electronic Materials” etc. I find distinct joy in teaching as I see my students eagerly and proactively grasping on to various concepts. During the period of time as a faculty member, I feel that my leadership qualities are developing and I am being able to motivate my students towards research and exploration. I have co-authored several research papers in international and local journals and also participated in international conferences. I am decisively looking forward to continuing teaching and research as my profession. I hope to play my part in disseminating knowledge to my students and carrying out innovative and meaningful research.
